Building Cleaning Witten

With over 95,000 residents, Witten is the largest city in the Ennepe-Ruhr district and a city of contrasts. Around Bahnhofstraße, Kornmarkt and Stadtgalerie lies a compact city centre with retail shops, restaurants, medical practices and law firms – often in the upper floors above the ground-floor units. In the Wiesenviertel between the pedestrian zone and the main station, Gründerzeit buildings with high ceilings, stucco and wooden windows define the character. Outside the centre, Witten looks different. The same applies around the Marien Hospital on Marienplatz and the Medical Care Centre on Pferdebachstraße. The industrial areas of Salinger Feld in Rüdinghausen with its own Witten-Annen junction, Wullen in the Annen district and the newer Drei Könige industrial area on a former railway site bring the typical mix of offices at the front and warehouse at the back; Deutsche Edelstahlwerke and Ardex represent the industry that has shaped Witten to this day. In Heven, Bommern and Herbede, down into the Ruhr valley at Kemnader See, single- and multi-family houses dominate, often on sloping ground – classic territory for stairwell cleaning and private window cleaning.
